Overview

An experienced SAP BTP Architect responsible for designing and delivering scalable, cloud-based solutions on SAP Business Technology Platform. This role combines strong technical expertise with a solid understanding of business processes, ensuring customer-specific extensions, integrations, and innovation scenarios are implemented in a clean-core, secure, and future-proof manner.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement end-to-end SAP BTP architectures using services such as Integration Suite, Event Mesh, CAP, ABAP Environment, Kyma, Workflows, and Automations.

• Provide architectural guidance across complex SAP landscapes, including S/4HANA (Private & Public Cloud) and integrations with surrounding systems and third-party applications.

• Lead integration design following API-first principles, leveraging SAP standard APIs, events, REST/OData, and asynchronous messaging patterns.

• Define and implement clean-core extension strategies, modernising legacy custom developments using SAP BTP services.

• Act as technical lead in transformation and innovation projects, covering solution design, architecture decisions, security concepts, and deployment standards.

• Serve as a trusted advisor to stakeholders and delivery teams, ensuring best practices, governance, and high-quality technical outcomes.

Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on experience with SAP BTP architecture and services.

• Proven background in designing integrations and extensions in hybrid and cloud-based SAP environments.

• Solid understanding of clean-core principles and modern SAP extension strategies.

• Experience in retail or consumer-facing industries is an advantage but not mandatory.
