DevSecOps Engineer



The project MCCS, standing for Modular Control Center System, is requiring a DevOps engineer for the disruptive design of a new generation of SCADA system operated by dispatchers supervising and controlling in real-time 24/24 -7/7 the high voltage network.



Service description:


Within the MCCS team, the DevSecOps engineer will work close with the software engineers of the different MCCS streams and the infrastructure teams. Their activities will be split between the support to the development and deployment of containerized solutions and the management and operationalization of these solutions in different environments, mainly on cloud and later on premises.



The DevSecOps engineer needs to act as a doer, constructive collaborator, analyze and find solutions compliant with the security and organization standards. They develop, automate deployments and actively participate to the operationalization of the hosting infrastructure.



Requirements:


Technical skills:



Conceptual knowledge on how to build and maintain:


  • release management with pipeline integration
  • reproducible builds
  • CI/CD design
  • deployment in secure and critical infrastructures (KRITIS)


Technologies:


  • Kubernetes
  • Pipelines (Gitlab/Azure DevOps)
  • GCP
  • Azure
  • Helm/Helmfile
  • Gitops (ArgoCD)
  • Rust/Go knowledge is a nice extra

  • Work regime: full time or halftime
  • Location: Working location could be remote with occasional business trips to Brussels, Berlin or other places around once a month (Travel costs will be paid by The company).
