What will you do?

The rapidly growing Center of Excellence IT Audit & Advisory, part of Mazars, is a diverse and multidisciplinary team. In this team, you will work with other cybersecurity specialists as well as privacy protection, IT risk management and IT audit specialists. Internationally, you will have contacts with fellow cybersecurity specialists, work on joint projects and share information on the latest cybersecurity developments.

In your role as a more experienced cybersecurity specialist / ethical hacker, you will be involved in the execution of assignments at clients and provide substantive coaching to other team members. Promoting and sharing current knowledge is part of the job. You will also have regular contact with ethical hackers from other offices abroad. You will also be involved in supporting activities in the context of acquisition. This includes exploratory client meetings, giving presentations and preparing quotations.

Your portfolio of assignments is diverse in terms of activities and types of clients. Examples include:

- Internal and external pen tests, both on web environments and network environments
- Pentesting as part of DigiD security assessments
- Pentesting of mobile apps
- Social engineering / cyber security awareness campaigns
- Advice on cyber governance
- Participating in client events / workshops on cyber
- Capture the Flag (CTF) competitions

We carry out the above work and activities, for example, for government bodies, cloud service providers, banks, organizations with a social interest, educational institutions and all kinds of other sectors.

Who are you?


Having certifications such as OSCP, SANS or similar is a plus, but not a must, if you have a relevant other degree or certification in ethical hacking or penetration testing. Further:

- You have at least 2 years of relevant work experience in cybersecurity with related tools.

- Hands on experience in one of the following areas: programming experience with e.g. Python, penetration testing, secure code review, mobile security, network security.

- Good communication skills in Dutch and English to full working proficiency.

- Interest in developing your own exploits and security research.

- You know the technology behind websites and computer networks.

- Interest in developing software in different languages to independently set up exploits and your own hacking tools.
