Title: Senior Embedded Software Engineer
Location: Santa Clara 


A state of the art Electric Vehicle company is looking to hire an experienced Embedded Engineer. You will be a key contriubuter to every project. You will develop firmware for various components. Technical leadership, software design, coding, testing, and debugging. Working on real time software in order to develop some of the most inovative solutions in the Electric Vehicle industry. Development in C on RTOS and Bare-Metal Systems. 


Responsibilities

• Work with management, architects, and developers to create cost-effective, flexible, reliable software solutions which scale with our business
• Design, develop, implement, and maintain embedded vehicle control software in C
• Perform board bring-up and code debug
• Fulfill all specified and derived requirements, including: safety, timing, and signal processing requirements of control algorithms for chassis systems, power converters, and motor controllers

Education and Experience

• BS in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or Electrical Engineering with Software Emphasis
• 4 years industry experience developing real-time software for embedded systems required
• Strong proficiency in C 
• Experience implementing control algorithms
• Experience with both RTOS and bare-metal systems
• Python and bash
