This position offers the opportunity for you to join an Autonomous Trailer Loading and Unloading company that has just closed their seed funding backed by one of the worlds leading OEMs (top 10 largest manufactures in the world).

They are looking for someone to join them as a 3D SLAM Engineer to help take their product out to market with their customer requirements. Due to the nature of the enviroment of the warehouses they are using lidar sensors as the robots will constantly be going in and out of light making the environment challenging.

Responsibilities:

-Fusing different sources for fast and precise pose estimation of the vehicle under challenging conditions.
-Implementing and improving SLAM algorithms in relation to mobile robotics
-Lead all technical desicions in relation to SLAM 

Requirements:

-Proffesional experience working on the topics of 3D SLAM, Sensor Fusion, Pose Estimation and Localization in relation to mobile robots.
-MsC or PhD with recognised research prefferably into the above mentioned topics.
-Solid fundamental ability with C++ (this position does not require a "C++ Guru" but must be able to have suffient skill to implement own algorithms with C++)
-Ability to localize in challenging environments.
-MUST HAVE EU CITIZENSHIP 
-Of course strong mathematical knowledge!

The ware house is located in Frankfurt however this position can be worked on a mostly remote basis in Germany vising the site 1/2 times a month.

Package is made up of a fixed salary of €80,000 - 120,00 + stock.
