Application Migration Lead
*Hybrid role - 3 days on site per week* *Spanish and English speaking* *€€ negotiable* *2 year contract*
The role:
Working for a large Financial services company bsaed in Madrid who have recently gone through an Acquisition, this s business critical role to migrate a range of applications to the new company.
Whilst the technical skills are important, what we really need is a leader who is not fazed by difficult tasks and is able to communicate effectively with a range of Stakeholders in different locations.
Tasks:
The role of Application Migration Lead includes the following tasks: - Setting up a team of 4 Application Migration engineers and leading this team directly. - Work together and act as a consultant for the Application IT Managers of the applications to be migrated. - Elaborate together with the PM the Migration Blueprint - Be an expert in all aspects relevant for migrating applications from one company to another. - Act as a consultant for additional migrations running in parallel during the 2 years of the contract.
Technical skills and experience:
Basic - medium technical skills required in:
- DevOps Methodology
- IT Architecture, physical hardware, VM's, Docker technology (OCP)
- Windows and Linux OS
- Communications and Networking
- Security and network security, firewall rules
- IAM concepts, standards and protocols (AD, ADFS, LDAP, IPA)
- Multiple Development technologies, like Java, C++, .NET, HTML,
