AWS/IAM Engineer

I am working with a market leading E-Learning company in Berlin who are looking for a Freelance AWS Cloud Security Engineer. This will be an initial 6 month contract (but will extend longer), and will be fully remote.

You will be working to design and implement key security measures to strengthen the information security at our customer. The project requires strong Cloud Architecture skills as well as Cyber Security knowledge. The security measures we want to implement range from Backups (likely with AWS Backup), central log collection, over to CIS and AWS security baselines.

Experience required-

• In depth knowledge of and experience with AWS Cloud architecture and services, especially serverless services
• In depth knowledge and experience in terraform, GitHub and linters
• Valid AWS architect and/or security relevant certifications (e.g. AWS Solution Architect, Security Specialty)
• General understanding of technical security measures (e.g. encryption, IAM, OAuth, firewalls, network access control lists, etc.)
• In depth knowledge of AWS IAM
• At least basic scripting and programming skills (preferably in JavaScript, Golang, Ruby or Python)
