Cloud Security Architect

We are currently working with a leading consultancy supporting them with finding a Cloud Security Architect to support them on a 6-12 month basis.    
 
Location: Ultrecht, Netherlands
Hybrid: x2 per week
 
Key responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain the security architecture around their cloud platform and oversee the security infrastructure
• Develop a comprehensive cloud security strategy, aligning it with business objectives
• Establish security policies, standards, and best practices throughout the cloud environment.
• Design network security controls, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and secure connectivity options.
• Ensure compliance with industry-specific regulations and standards, conduct regular audits, and liaise with auditors as necessary.
• Lead security assessments, vulnerability scans, and other testing, and manage remediation efforts based on findings.
• Evaluate Microsoft cloud security tools to enhance security and threat detection capabilities.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of security architecture configurations, policies, reports, and architectural decisions

Skills/ Experience:

• 5+ years’ experience as a Security Architect
• Proven experience in cloud security, especially within MS Azure
• Industry certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, CISM and Azure/M365 Security certifications
• Microsoft AZ-500, SC-100, SC-300 and SC-400 Certifications
