Cyber Security Architect - Remote - Contract.
Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Cyber Security Architect for a large Telecommunications client of ours . As a Cyber Security Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing security solutions to protect our client’s organization's information systems and data. You will work closely with the IT team and other departments to identify security risks, develop, and implement security policies and procedures, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities:
Design and implement security solutions to protect our organization's information systems and data
Conduct security assessments and risk analyses to identify potential security threats
Develop and implement security policies and procedures to mitigate risks
Work closely with IT team and other departments to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
Provide guidance and support to other team members on security-related issues
Monitor and analyse security events to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities
Stay up to date with the latest security trends and technologies
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Proven experience as a Cyber Security Architect or a similar role
Extensive experience with Kubernetes and/or certified CKA/CKS
Experience with 5G Core Networks
Previous experience on projects transitioning to Cloud
DevSecOps experience/ Knowledge
Previously worked with telecommunication customers
Strong understanding of security principles, protocols, and technologies
Knowledge of regulatory requirements such as HIPAA, GDPR, and PCI DSS
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CCSP are a plus
Contract:
Freelance contract – 12 months
No travel involved - 100% remote
Negotiable rates – (based on experience)
Must be in Europe
Must be Fluent English speaking and writing
Start date – ASAP.
