Data Scientist

Job Summary:  The Data Scientist will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting large, complex data sets to support research and development efforts. The successful candidate will have experience in data mining, machine learning, and statistical analysis.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data needs and develop data-driven solutions to business problems.
• Analyze large, complex data sets using statistical software, machine learning algorithms, and data visualization tools.
• Develop data management systems to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
• Communicate results and insights to non-technical stakeholders.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in data science and pharmaceutical research.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior data scientists and analysts.

Requirements:

• Master's or PhD degree in a relevant field such as data science, statistics, computer science, or pharmaceutical sciences.
• Strong statistical and analytical skills, with experience in data mining, machine learning, and data visualization.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, and SQL Or Pysparks.
• Strong experience within AWS
• Big Data experience 
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical research and development processes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a collaborative environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop and Spark.
• Experience with cloud-based computing platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Knowledge of natural language processing (NLP) and text analytics.
• Experience with clinical trial data analysis and regulatory compliance.
