 DevOps Engineer

The Role:
You will be joining the current infrastructure team to further strengthen their DevOps team. You’ll be responsible for the integration between two banks. The responsibility involves promoting services to higher environments from testing and/or installing the necessary components on Linux or Windows environments.

Requirements:

• Knowledge in one of the following domains (middleware, networking, OpenShift, AWS, etc)
• You have knowledge of one of the following scripting languages (Python, Powerhell, etc)
• You are someone who shows initiative and does not shy away from responsibility
• You are driven, have an eye for detail and have good analytical skills
• Fluent in one of 2 national languages and English
• You have very good communication skills

Function:

• As a DevOps engineer you participate, within a specific squad, in the development, evolution and maintenance of an application portfolio.
• Together with the team you are responsible for the availability, performance, applications, and quality of delivered solutions.
• You will be involved in the design phase to help draw the complete picture together with business, developers, and architects.
• You have an eye for improvement, to deliver and maintain high-quality applications for end users.
• You use various tools for preparing and executing the releases as well as testing them afterwards.
• Define the health checks that determine the correct running of the application and ensure that this is translated into concrete alerting rules.
