Position Overview:
As an Engineering Manager, you will play a pivotal role in defining the technical direction and architectural vision for the AI team and the company as a whole. You will work closely with the CEO to shape long-term strategies, define roadmaps, and lead a team of developers to achieve their ambitious goals. Key Responsibilities:

• Technical Leadership: Lead and guide the AI team in developing innovative solutions and pushing the boundaries of AI technology. Design the architecture and technical direction for all AI projects.
• Team Building: Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of software developers and machine learning engineers. Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Strategy and Roadmap: Collaborate with the executive team to define and execute the long-term strategy for the platform. Create and manage a clear roadmap for the team's projects.
• Technical Excellence: Ensure the team maintains a high level of technical proficiency and stays up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI and machine learning.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the CEO to align AI initiatives with critical company objectives. Communicate progress and challenges effectively to stakeholders.
• Innovation: Drive innovation within the AI team, encouraging creative thinking and exploring new approaches to problem-solving.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a software developer and machine learning engineer, with a strong technical background in AI and machine learning technologies.
• Previous experience in a leadership or managerial role, with a track record of successfully building and leading high-performing engineering teams.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and levels of the organisation.
• Deep knowledge of AI and machine learning concepts, frameworks, and tools including NLP and LLM.
• Passion for staying at the forefront of AI technology and a desire to make a meaningful impact on the world.
