Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with quantitative researchers, traders, and technology teams to design, develop, and implement advanced algorithmic trading strategies for the Fixed Income market.
- Build, maintain, and enhance low-latency trading platforms and systems using Java and related technologies.
- Optimize and fine-tune existing trading algorithms to improve performance, reliability, and efficiency.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of market data and trading patterns to identify opportunities for algorithmic enhancements.
- Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and cross-functional team collaborations to ensure high-quality software development practices.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes in the Fixed Income eTrading space.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
- Strong proficiency in Java programming and experience with multi-threaded and low-latency application development.
- Previous experience in designing and implementing algorithmic trading strategies within the Fixed Income market.
- Solid understanding of Fixed Income instruments, market structure, and electronic trading protocols.
- Familiarity with market data feeds, order management systems, and trading APIs.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and deliver results under pressure.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for continuous learning and improvement.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with other programming languages like C++, Python, or Scala.
- Knowledge of electronic trading platforms and connectivity solutions.
- Understanding of risk management, compliance, and regulatory requirements within the financial industry.
- Previous experience working in an agile development environment.
