A refining and energy trading comapny are looking for an experience ETRM Project Manager to be responsible for the planning, management, co-ordination and financial control of IT projects.

Job Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of projects
  • Assist in project initiation and definition, ensuring project clearly meets business objectives
  • Assist in defining IT project governance structure
  • Ensure that projects comply with IT governance
  • Control projects within delegated authority
  • Create, deliver and revise project plans as necessary
  • Identify resources and assign responsibilities
  • Manage daily operational aspects of the projects
  • Pro-actively manage project risks
  • Ensure project documents/artifacts are complete, current, and properly stored
  • Work closely with relevant stakeholders to ensure efficient project implementation
  • Monitor and manage project costs against approved budget
  • Submit and issue project status reports
  • Manage 3rd party vendors when required

Qualification Requirements Education/Qualifications
  • Proven record of successful implementation/delivery of large IT projects within an Energy Trading Environment
  • Understanding of trading business
  • Experience in managing external parties and vendors
  • Experience in ETRM projects, ideally Openlink Endur and/or Amphora Symphony
  • Knowledge in tailored project delivery methodologies and governance structures

  • Ability to initiate and drive the delivery of projects
  • Strong risk and issue management skills
  • Ability to understand business issues and specify IT solutions
  • Collaborative team player able to work on shared initiatives
  • Experience in delivering complex projects and initiatives under pressure
  • Able to meet tight deadlines and negotiate in a pressurised environment
  • Strong facilitation and influencing skills
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
  • Ability to cope with rapid business growth and a pressurised environment
  • Highly motivated, tenacious and proactive
  • Dependable, diligent with high integrity
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
