Freelance Application Developer - .NET

Source Group are currently working with a leading FS Institution who are looking to hire a Freelance Application Developer for a long term project.

This role requires candidates who are based in Switzerland or who are willing to relocate.

We are looking for an experienced Application developer with minimum 5 years’ experience, ideally coming from a Banking / Financial Services background.

Duties:

· Design and develop software using commonly used concepts and practices
· You will be responsible for developing solutions to issues found during the various testing phases of the upgrade project
· Deliver tested software using automated testing frameworks
· Assist in migrating existing functionalities as required by the target version.
· You will perform testing and coordinate with the team or directly with business users to get user sign-off

Skills Needed:

· Experience with Open Components / JVS
· Experience with .NET / Java programming language
· Experience with Kafka
· Experience with trading management applications

Nice to have:

· Experience working with OpenShift, ArgoCD, Azure DevOps / GitHub
· Experience working with Connex Gateways, TPM, and APM modules of Findur/Endur
· Experience with agile software development practices
· Experience with automated testing / TDD
· Knowledge with financial messaging systems (SWIFT)
