Freelance IT Operations Specialist needed - Hybrid 50% Cologne 50% remote



My client, a global automotive manufacturer is currently seeking a Service Desk Analyst to start with them as a freelancer to join the team in February for a period of 6 months, with definite extension possibilities.



Role: Freelance IT Support ‘technician’


Rate: €35-40 per hour depending on experience


Location: Remote 50%, 50% on-site in Cologne



Job Description below; My client, a Global Automotive firm are currently seeking a Service Desk Analyst with experience in troubleshooting windows environments for a 6 month rolling project, focusing on the support of a global infrastructure.


You would be working in a highly capable product team with a large degree of autonomy.


You would ideally be able to commute or work in Cologne 50%, with remote working option 50%.



Profile / Requirements:


• Bachelor’s degree in a Job-relevant Field.


• ITIL and ITSM tool knowledge.


• Experience and knowledge of Active Directory, Microsoft Office suite (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Azure AD, Teams, OneDrive for Business & other O365 products).


• Experience in the more complex troubleshooting of IT problems with a focus on the client and Infrastructure area.


• Experience in Microsoft Windows 10 operating systems, hardware and software installation and directory services.


• Technical understanding of IT interrelationships in the business environment.


• Friendly and service-oriented team player.


• High service orientation and customer focus.


• Intercultural cooperation and communication.


• Proficient in English, spoken and written.



Please have in mind that we rather need an IT Support ‘technician’ , capable of doing technical troubleshooting than a traditional Service Desk analyst.
