Head of Computer Vision

I'm currnetly working with a client looking to take on someone as a head of Computer Vision due to an internal promotion. This position can be worked either in an office in the Stuttgart area or in the Munich area.

The company are a leading German automotive company and they need someone coming from a stong theoretical and proffesional background to join them and help the teams grow and develop in line with expectations. The position comes with excellent compensation made up of fixed base salary, bonus and stock options.

Qualifications needed:

• Strong educational background ideally PhD in relation to Mathematics, Computer Vision, Machine Learning or Artificial Intelligence 
• Many years experience applying Computer Vision methodologies proffesionally, ideally working now in a position of leadership (does not need to be Automotive experience)
• Experience growing teams and hiring computer vision engineers 
• Ideally experience working in a product based environment having worked on the full lifecycle of a product 
• Eagerness to solve issues related to both Perception and Motion Control
