Job Description
• Seek approval as required through the effective use of approval and prioritisation processes
Developer Enablement:
• Design and implement platform services that reduce friction in the development lifecycle in collaboration with development teams to understand their workflow needs and pain points
• Provide embedded or dedicated DevOps support, documentation and training for self-service platform capabilities to support key product teams
Communication
• Attend the weekly IT Managers meetings, Audit Review Meetings, Audit review meetings, Team Leader’s Meetings, Project Review Meeting and other meetings as required.
Budget & Supplier Management
• Control the IT Operations cost centre budgets & forecasts (CapEx, OpEx and headcount) by liaising with the other IT managers/team leaders, with focus on investments that enable platform capabilities.
• Play an active role in service reviews to ensure delivery of relevant contracted service levels and management of costs, which includes participation in contract negotiations, focusing on tools that enable platform capabilities
Technical Planning & Coordination
• Ensure timely execution of activities with focus on both operational stability and platform enablement initiatives in alignment with PMO to implement hybrid project methodologies suitable for different work types
