For our client in the energy industry we are looking for a Infrastructure Specialist.

Tasks:

• Administer, operate , support, troubleshoot, own and run the day to day of our decentralize infrastructure landscape within the Operational Technology environment in France, including firewalls, routers, servers and switches

• Responsible for the installation, setup, configuration and life-cycle management of hardware within our French landscape, including checks, inventory and documentation for Onshore, Offshore, PV and Battery Power plants.
• Proactively monitor our system performance and react to incidents to minimize disruptions, including daily checks, scheduled jobs and backups.
• Ensure, troubleshoot and maintain the SQL/SCADA data communication flow of our French Assets
• Analysis and elimination of complex technical incidents via tickets and/or other method, including 1st and 2nd line support – including the Change Management Processes
• Support and drive IT security in conjunction with our Security Teams.
• Enable good working relationship and knowledge exchange with other teams within the renewables business, including external consultants.

 

Skills:

• Certifications within the Information Technology Area (Microsoft, Linux, SQL Servers, Azure or similar) with related experience and successfully completed a university degree in Information Technology.
• 3+ years of experience managing VMware Servers, including Windows and Linux systems
• 3+ years of experience managing networks and routers (TCP/IP, SNMP, VPNs, VLANs, Firewalls, Routers, Switches and similar devices)
• Knowledge and experience working with Physical Servers (HP, Industrial servers is a plus) and its remote management tools (ILO, AMT) and is setup
• Experience to coordinate, troubleshooting and perform root cause analysis.
• Ability to work within a team and experience working in an international working environment.
• Fluent in English and French – writing and speaking
