Lead .NET Developer

Hands on Lead Developer for a Global front runner in Engineering Simulation. They are know for helping companies deliver better products to their customers through bespoke engineering simulation software. 

This is a fantastic opportunity to create world changing, innovative software used by world leading companies. 


This role pays up to £90k with a discretionary bonus included including health care etc. You can work fully remote or in one of their many offices in the UK. 

The Project : 

Migrating a monolithic desktop to the Cloud. 

They are looking to enhance their flagship product to better take advantage of the cloud.

The goal is to allow their customers to use their product in conjunction with their current cloud providers, as well as offer more cloud hosted services so more smaller businesses can use their tech

What you'll do 

You'll operate as a hands on Lead .NET developer (90% hands on) the rest strategic / architecture work 
You'll be more of an individual contributor than leading a team 
Leading discussion / stakeholder management  
Lift application and move into Cloud, looking at old code base and use proof of concept 
Scope to build out team once identified challenges 

Currently there is a small team of Dev's working on re factoring code and getting code base ready 

What you'll have 

Strong C# .NET Development skills 
Excellent experience with a Cloud provider 
Knowledge / working experience moving monolithic desktop to Cloud 
Strong communication skills / confidence 


Fully remote / Up to £90k
