The Position.

ML Engineer/ML Solutions Architect


The company

Our client is one of the leading transmission system operators in Germany. The company operates throihgout Europe and provides links between the electricity producer and its millions of users. 

The service

You will be working with the data scientists and ML engineers by providing them with a quality machine learning model development and also deployment environment. Another focus of the role will be enabling more models to move into production, both in cloud & on site environments and taking responsibility for their performance in production. The role is based in Berlin, but has flexibility to work from home some days per week.


Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in software and/or machine learning engineering with a particular focus on models in production
• Experience with Azure ML
• Experience with Docker
• Experience with Terraform and Infrastructure-as-code
• Experience with ML flow is a plus
• Experience with Databricks is a plus
• Experience mentoring and supporting junior data scientists is a plus
• Experience deploying to cloud environments (Azure experience is a plus)
• Experience writing production code (test-driven development, working with/creating CI/CD pipelines)
• BSc or MSc in Computer Science, engineering, informatics, or similar is a plus
• Fluent in English. Additional language skills in German, Dutch or French is a plus
• Creative, autonomous, empathic, team player and result driven
• Good communication skills
