Job Title: Network Engineer

Location: Europe (mainly netherlands/belgium)

Security Clearance Required: NATO Security Clearance and/or EU Security Clearance

Job Type: Full-Time, Contract/Freelance

About the Role:

My client is seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer with a strong background in network design, implementation, and maintenance. The ideal candidate will hold NATO Security Clearance and/or EU Security Clearance and have 5-10 years of experience in network engineering within secure environments.


Required Qualifications:

• NATO Security Clearance and/or EU Security Clearance is mandatory.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5-10 years of experience in network engineering, with a focus on secure environments.
• Proficiency in networking protocols, including TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and MPLS.
• Experience with network security technologies, such as firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and encryption.
• Strong knowledge of network monitoring and management tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to travel as required by the project.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with military or government networks.
• Certifications such as CCNP, CISSP, or equivalent.
• Knowledge of cloud networking solutions (AWS, Azure, etc.).
• Familiarity with SD-WAN and network automation tools.
