Up to £700 per day via umbrella

You will be required to work closely with the Head of Finance Technology and Oracle SME’s to implement change, enhancing and building out capability to meet the business requirements.  You will cover full Software Development Lifecycle “SDLC” from understanding/documenting the business process/requirements to designing and building solutions that are robust and fit for purpose.  You will own all aspects of this delivery through to production deployment (following good code control, and release governance) and initial production support/warranty, providing handover and knowledge transfer to the oracle BAU team so they can support any solutions going forward post warranty.
 
Whilst this role is predominantly for change projects, there is a requirement to upskill from a daily BAU support perspective building additional capability/contingency to backfill Oracle SME team when they are redirected to large scale projects.
 
This role will require you to identify and liaison with the wider Information Systems development & Technical Services teams as well as various business stakeholder departments including Finance, Product Control and Regulatory team.
 

Requirements

  • Compliance with IT Control environment including internal and SOX controls
  • Compliance with the Architecture Control Framework and other Information Systems wide standards.
  • Liaison with Near Shore support & Near Shore (small) change teams, co-ordinating the pipeline of work with Near Shore change.
  • Proven track record of successfully creating robust solutions utilising Oracle interface tables and/or publicly available API’s
  • Use of productivity tools such as Confluence and Jira.
  • Use of code control tools such as BitBucket
  • Understanding of IT Control processes such as change management, segregation of responsibilities.
  • Self-sufficient in the way you work, able to work with limited direction and instruction
