Process Control Engineer
*12 month initial contract, up to 3 year with extensions* *hybird working, 2 days per week on site in Krakow*
The role
A company based in Krakow currently require an experiences Process Control / Instrumentaiotn Engiener to work on a B2B contract, for initally 12 months. This role has the potential to extend for up to 3 years.
Part of the role will involve:
• Collaborating on the creation of Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).
• Participating in review meetings such as HAZOP (Hazard and Operability) sessions.
• Coordinating with Process Engineers to design Process Control elements, including P&IDs, Interlock systems, and Cause and Effect diagrams.
• Compiling Functional Diagrams and Logic Diagrams.
• Contributing to the technical design of control and safety systems, encompassing both hardware and software components for Basic Process Control Systems (BPCS) and Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS).
Key experience needed:
• Possess a Master's degree in either Instrumentation or Chemical Engineering.
• Have prior experience working as a Process Control Engineer within a plant engineering company or simialr enviornment
• Demonstrate the ability to work autonomously in the development of project proposals and project execution for instrumentation on both domestic and international projects.
• Familiarity with programming software from BPCS/SIS vendors (e.g., Yokogawa, Emerson) is highly valued, with potential for in-house configuration of control and safety systems.
• Proficiency in computer skills, including knowledge of applications such as MS Office, AutoCAD (ACAD), and experience with Smart Plant Instrumentation is appreciated.
• Display enthusiasm for collaborating within a multicultural team and be open to short and long-term travel commitments (1-3 months) for commissioning and start-up activities.
