Are you an experience Project / Programme Lead with a background in Testing? We are working with a large financial services company based in London who currently need support for at least the next 12 months. This role only requires you to be on site 1 day per week (full time role).


The role:

• Conduct dynamic workshops focusing on diverse transformation projects and consolidate resultant achievements.
• Secure support from a range of stakeholders.
• Showcase alterations to leadership, employing persuasive reasoning regarding advantages and expenses.
• Establish a mutation strategy along with its accompanying steps.
• Unite individuals in support of the transformation.
• Aid in executing adjustments, potentially incorporating a new operational model.
• Identify avenues where transformation may enhance testing performance.
• Offer direction and assistance for the new processes. Propose, guide, and engage in ongoing enhancement endeavors.
• Act as a vibrant contributor to the corporate testing community.
  
  
  
  

Key Experience:

• Demonstrate a track record of several years collaborating within an agile work environment, while any experience in Waterfall methodologies adds further value.
• Minimum of a 10 years worth of experience in a leadership role within projects, coupled with no less than five years of engagement in Testing or active participation in testing-related tasks within the IT sector
• Exhibit a history of involvement in budget estimation, project planning, ongoing project monitoring, and comprehensive reporting.
• Display a strong foundation in technical IT matters, including knowledge and comprehension of distributed technologies, as well as various communication mediums like MQ (Message Queues) and file transfer protocols.
• Showcase familiarity with a risk-based approach to tasks and challenges.
• Demonstrate hands-on familiarity with tools like ALM (Application Lifecycle Management), TFS (Team Foundation Server), or ServiceNow.
• Highlight tangible experience in setting up or overseeing test environments involving multiple technologies.
• Display a history of engaging in testing within intricate architectural contexts.
• Hold a valid ISTQB (International Software Testing Qualifications Board) certification
• Any involvement with offshoring practices adds an extra layer of value.
• Demonstrate exposure to non-functional testing, particularly within the framework of ISO/IEC 9126.
• Display experience in the implementation and utilization of test automation, which is regarded as an advantageous skill.
• Experience within the Banking sector would be an advantage but is not essential
