SAP S/4 Supply Chain Consultant (SD Intercompany & Manufacturing)

Overview

We are currently looking for an experienced SAP S/4 Supply Chain Consultant to join a major S/4HANA transformation programme. The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders, functional teams, and developers to support the design and implementation of supply chain processes with a particular focus on SD Intercompany and Manufacturing.

The successful candidate will be part of an Agile Release Train (ART) environment and contribute to solution design, requirements gathering, functional specifications, testing, and delivery activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse business requirements and perform fit-gap assessments.
• Design SAP S/4HANA solutions for Supply Chain processes with a focus on SD Intercompany and Manufacturing.
• Create and maintain functional specifications and process documentation.
• Define data objects, field mappings, and process impacts.
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders and development teams.
• Support user story creation, acceptance criteria definition, and Definition of Done activities.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, Demos, and PI Planning sessions.
• Ensure documentation is maintained in accordance with project governance and Solution Manager standards.

Required Experience

• Strong hands-on SAP S/4HANA Supply Chain experience.
• Proven expertise in SD Intercompany processes.
• Solid hands-on Manufacturing process experience.
• Experience conducting fit-gap workshops and functional design activities.
• Ability to translate business requirements into functional specifications.
• Experience working within Agile delivery environments.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Fluent English.

Nice to Have

• Previous experience within SAFe / Agile Release Train environments.
• Experience working on large-scale S/4HANA transformation programmes.
• Experience with SAP Solution Manager.
• CSV (Computer System Validation) experience.

• Fully remote assignment.
• To ensure alignment with project delivery requirements, time zone coverage, and collaboration with the wider programme team, applications will be considered from consultants based within the European nearshore region.
