Senior Engineer (PAM/CyberArk)

Job Title: Senior Developer - Privileged Access Management (PAM) - 

Freelance contract - 12 months rolling 
Hybrid - 3 days on sight per week 
Start date - 15/06/2023 


Job Mission: The Sr. Developer is responsible for designing and implementing standard Privileged Access Management (PAM) processes in the Identity and Access Management (IAM) domain. They will work with the chosen IT technology to fulfill this role. The Sr. Developer will also identify and agree upon functional and non-functional requirements for these processes, acting as the main point of contact for customer teams. Collaboration with the IAM System Architect, Senior developers of agile teams in the IAM ART, PAM Product Owner, PAM Development team, and customers is crucial. As a senior developer, you will provide consulting services for supported services and bring new demand to the Product Owner.

Job Description:

Main Responsibilities:

• Prepare design patterns for integrating applications for privileged access.
• Refine and manage the PAM functional architecture.
• Validate solution designs created by peers against the IAM solution architecture.
• Document the "as-is" and "to-be" architecture for proposed solutions to support the Product Owner, System Architect, and business users in decision-making processes.
• Create functional designs, user stories, and specifications aligned with IAM architectural principles, the company's IAM strategy, and standard IAM processes.
• Coordinate and validate the realization of designed capabilities/functionalities according to the specifications.
• Ensure knowledge transfer to the DevOps team.
• Provide high-level effort estimation for implementing designed solutions during sprint planning and PI preparation.
• Drive standardization and automation.

Stakeholder Management:

• Maintain timely and clear communication, sharing information and knowledge.
• Share responsibility and leverage the expertise of others.

Requested Skills:
Thorough knowledge and experience with Privileged Access Management processes.

• Hands-on experience with CyberArk Core PAS, Secret Providers, and REST API integration modules.
• Experience in preparing design patterns and solution architecture.
• Experience with Agile methodology.
• Sound understanding of security technologies, best practices, and security policy frameworks.
• Knowledge of Conjur is a plus.

Personal Skills:

• Excellent English communication and presentation skills. Command of the Dutch language is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Highly motivated, with a strong work ethic, and able to work effectively with minimal supervision.

Context of the Position:

• Reporting to the Group Lead IAM.
• Part of the PAM team in the IAM Agile Release Train (ART).
• Close collaboration with IAM System Architect.
• Alignment with peers and the Product Owner within the PAM team regarding operational planning and progress.
