Our client is looking for a Senior Frontend Developer to join their Engineering team based in Glasgow.

Key responsibilities:
- Participates in planning, architecture, or research activities
- Performs product design and development activities requiring extensive analysis in areas such as user experience, software design and solver research. Acts as a technical reference for the product.
- Employs best practices and maintains them through technical reviews and mentoring
- Performs complex bug verification, release testing and beta support across multiple products. Research problems discovered by QA or product support and develops solutions.
- Researches and understands the marketing requirements for products, including target environment, performance criteria and competitive issues. May work with strategic customers or proxies to assess needs and develop solutions
Skills
- BS in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with 5 years’ experience (the years of experience is flexible depending on your capability)
- Significant commercial experience with angular 2+/react and/or other frontend frameworks
- Commercial experience with writing live data consumption layers from multiple data sources like REST API, WebSockets and custom web assembly libraries
- Proven track record of crafting robust and efficient code
