Senior Workplace Engineer

For our customer in the Financial Services Industry, we are seeking a highly skilled and experience Systems Engineer for Microsoft Digital Workspace 

This is a 12 month contract, with 50% onsite in Basel, 20 days a year are allowed fully remote with the rest remote within Switzerland (the position requires relocating) 

Must haves:
• At least 7 years of hands on experience in implementing client operating systems and relevant infrastructure in an enterprise environment. 
• Strong background with a proven record of designing and implementing Operating System Deployments (OSD) including the image build, task sequences and reporting
• Deep understanding of hardware, operating system security and hardening, with a focus on Windows security capabilities (BitLocker, SecureBoot, TPM, Defender Firewall, Application whitelisting, GPO, etc.)
• Deep understanding of Windows operating systems and related technology stack including SCCM, Intune, Microsoft 365, SCCM Co-Management, Microsoft Azure, GPO. 
• Strong Desktop Support background with a proven record of delivering Microsoft-focused large-scale solutions using Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (aka SCCM) and Intune.
• Requires fluency in scripting (e.g. PowerShell).
