Software Test Engineer

Description:

• Derive software requirements based on customer and system requirements
• Elaborate and further develop a suitable test process and construct a test environment to secure the software development
• Define and implement test scenarios for the execution of software module and integration tests
• Design creative test cases to verify, stress, and break software running on the actual hardware
• Execute software integration tests
• Create automated tests and develop tools to post-process data from these tests
• Set up and maintain sensor test benches to perform automated regression and run time tests
• Document, track and report issues and bugs
• Creation, design and execution of manual and automated software tests on medical devices.
• Preparation of test scripts in either C/C++/C#, Java or Python.
• Performing document and source code reviews
• Preparation of regulatory required documentation

Requirements:

• DOORS 
• Lab reports and bug reports
• Test automation
• experience in developing software verification and validation tests
• Experience with Embedded Systems
• English and intermediate German language skills

Beneficial to have:

• Experience with Jira and Confluence
• Experience testing medical devices, aviation, automotive (ISO 26262), or other safety critical application
