Storage Engineer

For our customer in Geneva, we are seeking a Storage Engineer 

Main tasks:

• Build, operate and maintain our critical storage and backup infrastructures
• Contribute to the analysis of the architecture and evolution of storage and backup solutions
• Promote “as code” management of our platforms by participating in the automation of tasks in order to improve efficiency and reduce operational risks
• Define metrics, kpis and dashboards
• You are responsible for and contribute to the assessment of technical vulnerabilities and remediation
• Perform rotating on-call duties with other team members (24/7)
• Liaise with Product Owners and technical team

Key Skills 

• Good experience in managing modern backup solutions (e.g. Rubrik, Avamar or similar)
• Good experience in managing different storage technologies: NAS, S3, Block, SAN, VSAN, CAS, storage arrays (e.g. Dell, NetApp, Hitachi, HPE, minio)
• Experience working with virtualization technologies and Linux and Windows operating systems
• Experience or strong interest in as code, API, automation, devops and related tools
• Residence in Switzerland required (B permit for at least 3 years)
