Skills and Competencies:
  • Deep technical knowledge in VMware Portfolio (SDDC, VCF, VSAN, VRA/VRO/VCD, NSX-T, NSX-V, AVI LB), Windows, Linux, Wintel Hardware
  • Proven experience holding VMware Architect Certifications
  • Experience with traditional datacentre infrastructure (Compute, Network, Storage) and experience with migrations from these units into VMware SDDC
  • Experience with automation on VMware private cloud / SDDC
  • Experience in the integration of vmware private cloud with IT Infrastructure and Operations Management tools such as monitoring, patching, backup, cmdb, IAM, operational Insights.
  • Good understanding of VMware Licensing structures
  • Good understanding of Security in the private cloud, especially on the network and data layers.
  • Experience in Business Continuity Management and Disaster Recovery
  • Experience in workload mobility in hybrid cloud environments
  • Extensive experience in designing complex and large scale cloud projects.
  • General technical knowledge in physical and virtual firewalls and load balancers, NetApp Storage and Commvault, Hyper-converged appliances and Cisco ACI
  • Overall Application infrastructure design, workload design and implementation experience
