Software Engineer

About the Role:
We’re seeking a highly skilled Sophis Developer to join a leading financial services organisation. You’ll play a key role in developing, enhancing, and maintaining Sophis-based solutions, integrating them with front-to-back office systems, and optimising workflows for trading and risk management teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain Sophis customisations and extensions.
• Build and enhance tools and reports using Excel, VBA, and C# .NET.
• Support end-users across trading, risk, and operations teams.
• Troubleshoot issues and ensure system stability and performance.
• Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions.

Key Skills & Experience:

• Strong hands-on experience with Sophis Value or Sophis Risque.
• Proven experience developing in Excel / VBA and C# .NET.
• Solid understanding of financial products (e.g., derivatives, fixed income, equities).
• Experience working within a trading or risk management environment.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
