Summary Senior-level execution role within a major SAP operating model and ERP transformation initiative. The Project Manager will lead two parallel service transitions (IMS & AMS) while ensuring alignment and operational readiness for a large-scale S/4HANA program. This is a hands-on governance and delivery control position in a complex multi-provider environment.
Role Overview We are looking for a hands-on Senior IT Project Manager to drive the execution of two parallel SAP operating model transitions (IMS & AMS) while ensuring full alignment with a large-scale S/4HANA ERP Transformation.
This is a pure execution and governance role: the transition concepts are defined – focus is on delivery control, milestone tracking, risk resolution, and operational readiness across internal teams and multiple service providers.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead SAP IMS transition (MSP to MSP on AWS)
- Lead SAP AMS transition (internal team to MSP) ensuring service stability
- Act as delivery interface between Business PM, System Integrator(s), and internal SAP teams
- Manage governance (SteerCo, phase gates, RAID, change control, budget tracking)
- Drive execution via Jira, Confluence, JSM, and PPM tools
- Ensure ERP Transformation readiness and protect September 2027 go-live
- Coordinate cutover, knowledge transfer, and post-go-live stabilization
- 10 years IT Project Management experience
- Strong SAP background (IMS/AMS transitions mandatory)
- Experience in S/4HANA / large ERP transformations
- Strong governance, PMO, and financial control skills
- Execution-driven, able to manage multiple stakeholders and MSPs
- Hands-on with Jira & Confluence
