Role Summary
A leading telecommunications company is seeking a Infrastructure integration and monitoring engineer to support a new infrastructure initiative. The role focuses on integrating mechanical and electrical (M&E) systems into existing network infrastructure and coordinating between site engineering, IT, and network teams.
Responsibilities
- Oversee network connectivity and integration of M&E equipment (e.g., air conditioning systems, UPS, data center systems, fire alarms, intrusion alarms).
- Act as the primary interface between the Site Engineering team and IT/network departments.
- Manage and maintain accurate documentation of IP addresses.
- Enhance and optimize monitoring systems, dashboards, KPI reporting, and database functions.
- Utilize tools such as SNMP, DataMiner (Skyline), Cramer, Nagios, Netcool, and Stablenet.
Skills and Qualifications
- Several years of experience in the IT and telecommunications industry.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficiency in English; capable of working in an international, English-speaking environment.
