A global leader in sustainable refrigeration, air-conditioning, and heat-pump technology is looking for a Technical Product Specialist to support its growing Product Management team. The company develops environmentally friendly, energy-efficient compressor solutions and serves customers across a wide range of industrial and commercial applications.
 

Role Overview

In this position, you will act as a technical expert for reciprocating compressors, working closely with customers, sales teams, and internal departments. Your work will support the successful application, optimization, and continuous development of compressor technology used in refrigeration and heat pump systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Support: Provide expert guidance to customers and internal teams on compressor applications and system integration.

• Application Engineering: Assist with selecting and applying reciprocating compressors to meet specific system and performance requirements.

• Customer Collaboration: Engage directly with customers to understand their needs and develop tailored solutions.

• Project Coordination: Oversee application-related projects from initial concept through implementation.

• Documentation & Tools: Prepare technical documents, application notes, instructions, and reports; participate in software testing and improvements.

• Training Delivery: Conduct technical training for customers and internal staff.

• Service Planning: Organize and schedule service activities to ensure effective customer support.

• Market Insight: Monitor market trends and customer feedback to identify opportunities for innovation or product enhancement.

Candidate Profile

• Degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a related technical field, ideally with exposure to refrigeration technology.

• Professional experience in refrigeration, compressor technology, or related engineering areas.

• Familiarity with natural refrigerants (e.g., CO?, hydrocarbons) is an asset.

• Strong grasp of thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, and refrigeration/electrical circuits.

• Excellent German and English communication skills.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Willingness to travel for customer support and on-site project work.
