We are super excited to be joined by Anton Arhipov, Developer Advocate at JetBrains, who will give a talk on Idiomatic Kotlin.
"It's easy to start using Kotlin &mdash; like Java, so your experience will easily let you start programming in Java style. However, learning Kotlin's best practices is a must to take full advantage of the language. Kotlin provides many features for writing concise and readable code. This session will look at Kotlin features that make the programs look beautiful and readable."
R3 will be kindly hosting us, and Dan Newton, Staff Engineer at R3, will be giving a talk titled "Should you use Kotlin for your APIs?".

The extension automatically detects the libraries you use to alter their bytecode so that telemetry can be collected for you. The project started by instrumenting some Akka metrics to then extend its functionality with ZIO metrics and more to come, as the project still is in its early stages.
