Project Overview We are looking for an experienced SAP Solution Architect / Senior Consultant with strong expertise in SAP Sales and Service for a Greenfield SAP S/4HANA transformation in a Private Cloud environment. The consultant will support the client in designing and implementing end-to-end processes with a focus on Sales-Service capabilities and Advanced Returns Management (ARM).
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct workshops with stakeholders and business users to gather and refine requirements.
- Lead the training and introduction of SAP S/4HANA Advanced Returns Management (ARM), including integrated Inhouse Repair processes.
- Perform process analysis, modelling, and solution design aligned with SAP best practices.
- Design end-to-end business scenarios, with particular focus on Sales and Service processes.
- Analyze the current customer landscape and create detailed process documentation and functional concepts.
- Take responsibility for the system-side implementation of business requirements, including:
- SAP customizing
- coordination of add-ons
- user exits and enhancements
- development of reports and interfaces
- SAP customizing
- Evaluate SAP business best practices and propose improvements or additional value opportunities.
- Identify key business challenges across the value chain and suggest process optimizations.
- Present and validate proposed solutions with stakeholders and obtain client approval before implementation.
- 8 years of SAP consulting experience, with strong focus on SAP Sales and Service modules.
- Solid experience in SAP S/4HANA transformations, ideally Greenfield implementations.
- Hands-on expertise with SAP S/4HANA Advanced Returns Management (ARM) and Inhouse Repair processes.
- Strong knowledge of end-to-end Sales-Service process design.
- Experience with SAP customizing and system implementation.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Excellent communication and workshop facilitation skills.
- Fluent German language skills (spoken and written).
- Ability to work in an international and remote project environment.
- Experience in Manufacturing or Engineering industry projects.
- Prior experience with SAP Private Cloud environments.
- Background in SAP solution architecture or lead consulting roles.
- Remote-first engagement
- Occasional onsite presence in Dresden (approx. once per month) depending on project needs.
