For this ambitious mission, we're looking for a driven Marketing Analytics Specialist. What will you be doing?
As a Marketing Analytics Specialist, you'll be the expert who supports and advises our clients and their teams with data-driven insights. You'll delve into the numbers to understand the effectiveness and impact of marketing and media efforts. This includes:
- Determining the most important KPIs for the customer and translating these into marketing and media.
- You bridge the gap between strategy and execution ; you inform strategic direction with data-driven insights and refine them based on practical experience.
- You are continuously learning and optimising to realise data-driven growth for the customer through Test & Learn and experimentation .
Your team:
In addition to collaborating with (internal) client teams (client leads, strategists and media, data & creative specialists), you'll work closely with your fellow marketing analysts. You'll collaborate on projects, discuss approaches, and draw inspiration from your previous experience. Because every client has different needs, goals, and context, it's crucial to stay informed about developments and opportunities in the market, including various measurement methods, technical implementations, changes in marketing & media platforms, and the latest innovations . In this dynamic world, it's crucial to be flexible and eager to learn.
You'll be part of an interdisciplinary data team (from Data Science to Technical Web Analysts), where we share knowledge and collaborate on exciting projects. We offer plenty of opportunities for learning and development outside of work. We also enjoy spending time together on the patio and organizing activities like bouldering or pub quizzes!
Who are you?
- You have a university working and thinking level.
- You have at least 3 years of relevant work experience in a similar role (such as Marketing Analyst, Data Analyst, Web Analyst or Business Intelligence Specialist) in which you have analyzed complex marketing data and translated it into advice.
- You are a native Dutch speaker and have an excellent command of the Dutch and English languages, both spoken and written.
- You have a deep passion for data, technology, and its application in marketing. You're not afraid of complex issues and intricate data-driven media puzzles.
- You have solid knowledge of statistics and effectiveness research and are proficient with tools such as SQL, Python, R, GA4, CDPs and various data & media platforms.
- You have extensive knowledge of and experience with the application of concepts in the field of data strategy (future-proof data collection, martech, adtech, governance), audience strategy (segmentation, activation, personalization) and marketing effectiveness (MMM, attribution modeling, CX optimization, test & learn).
- Experience with market research, target group research , media in general, media effectiveness research and/or brand or consumer research is an advantage.
- You have strong skills in verbally and visually conveying insights and are enthusiastic about advising clients.
