For ouur customer a Major Management Consultancy, we are seeking a M&A Advisor / Integration Specialist 

How you will make an impact

  • Lead Integration and Separation Projects: Adopt a forward-looking approach and tailor methodologies to client situations in complex M&A separations and integrations.
  • Project Scope and Delivery: Define, plan, and execute project scope, manage expectations, and timelines with clients, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
  • Resource Management: Calculate and measure the level of effort to assign and deploy resources effectively.
  • Analytical Solutions: Provide strategic insights and advanced analytical solutions, assess complex problems, and support decision-making.
  • Client Relationships: Navigate clients across Deloitte’s offerings, maintain strong relationships, and identify further opportunities.
  • Risk Mitigation: Formulate robust risk mitigation and backup plans for specific phases of the M&A lifecycle.
  • Exceptional Client Service: Ensure the team understands and delivers exceptional client service, establishing quality review and method discipline.
  • Subject Matter Expertise: Lead conversations with client CXOs, convert innovative ideas into tangible solutions, and become the client’s go-to contact for recommendations.
 
Who we are looking for
 
  • Result-oriented, highly motivated to lead and be challenged
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities with a focus on strategic decision-making and attention to detail
  • Ready to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with tight deadlines and evolving priorities.
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, engineering, or related fields, with significant experience in business strategy and M&A
  • 8+ years relevant M&A experience in a related field, either in consulting or industry roles
  • Extensive experience in the financial services industry, especially in insurance
  • Solid skills in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Fluent in English, with excellent interpersonal skills and experience working within an international community. Language proficiency in German or French is a plus

Crucial:
- M&A execution experience (
we require experience executing the operational aspect of a M&A transaction)
- FSI experience- we require industry experience inside a bank or insurance company
- leader/manager position
