Senior Business Data Engineer

As a data engineer, you'll be part of the Commercial & Customer Intelligence team and focused on creating sustainable value for Argenta and our customers. You'll do this by making various types of data sources available to data scientists and Tableau experts.

What exactly will you be doing?

You design and develop technical solutions to collect, store, and analyze large amounts of data. You develop data pipelines on-premises (Oracle) and in the cloud (AWS/Azure).
You'll prepare all kinds of data for our data scientists and Tableau experts, capturing data requirements and defining acceptance criteria.
You develop and manage various data flows via (meta)pipelines and are responsible for optimal flow of batch processes and optimal data quality.
Documenting and recording everything thoroughly is really your thing.

Your Theoretical Background

You have a Master's degree in a relevant field or have the necessary experience.
You have at least 5 years of experience in a similar position.
You have a perfect knowledge of Dutch and a good knowledge of English.
You have a good knowledge of Python and SQL.
You have a good knowledge of ETL tools (e.g. Kubeflow, Pentaho).
You have knowledge of modern data warehousing, data modelling and DBMSs (Redshift, Azure SQL, Synapse).
