Role Overview
You will take end-to-end ownership of the on-prem Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) and Tabular model environment. This role is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the core data architecture that supports reporting, analytics, and business decision-making.
Working closely with BI, IT, and cross-functional stakeholders, you will ensure secure, reliable, and high-performance data delivery across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities

Design and maintain the on-prem EDW with a focus on scalability and performance

Develop and optimise ETL/ELT pipelines integrating ERP, CRM, HRM, and other data sources

Build and optimise Tabular models for BI and self-service analytics

Implement data governance, validation, and security aligned with ISO 27001 and NIS2

Manage backend optimisation (indexing, storage, query tuning)

Deliver high-quality datasets and maintain documentation and audit readiness

Drive continuous improvements in data architecture and tooling
Key Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field

5+ years’ experience in data engineering or EDW environments

Strong hands-on experience with on-prem EDW architecture and SQL performance tuning

Proven expertise in ETL/ELT development and enterprise data integration

Advanced experience with Tabular models

Understanding of data governance and compliance frameworks

Strong analytical and stakeholder communication skills

Microsoft data certifications are advantageous
