Job Description
What will you do as a Data Scientist ?
As a Data Scientist, you'll be the driving force behind our data-driven marketing. You'll bring together media and customer data (such as CRM and behavioral data) to answer the most challenging customer questions.
You're not just programming and modeling; you're a consultant who translates complex insights into concrete recommendations for our clients .
Your most important responsibilities :
- Insights & Advice: You'll be a fully-fledged advisor to our clients. You'll translate their business questions into data solutions and present complex analyses and results in a compelling and understandable way.
- Modeling & Programming: You'll base your customer recommendations on advanced data science models, which you'll develop, implement, and maintain. These include (conversion) attribution models such as Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM), predictive models , and (customer) clustering algorithms .
- Data Engineering: You work with various data sources and are skilled in unlocking and combining data with SQL and NO-SQL (e.g. in Snowflake ).
- Collaborate & Innovate: You'll work in a multidisciplinary team with data strategists, analytics experts, and engineers, as well as media specialists and creatives, to create the best, integrated solutions.
- You have a university working and thinking level, with a completed education in a quantitative field such as Data Science , Econometrics, Mathematics, Statistics or Computer Science.
- You have at least 3 years of work experience in a similar role, in which you have worked hands-on with data.
- You are a discussion partner for the client, have proven experience in advising stakeholders and can present complex matters clearly and convincingly.
- You are an expert in Python (or another programming language) and have experience with SQL and/or NO-SQL databases.
- You have in-depth knowledge of statistics and can independently implement and maintain statistical and machine learning models.
- You have a strong affinity for marketing . Experience with Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM) or other attribution models is a major plus.
- You have an excellent command of the Dutch and English language.
