This is an exciting opportunity to work on the validation of a next-generation, high-performance Analog-to-Digital Converter (ADC) evaluation platform, supporting the development of cutting-edge semiconductor products.
Working as part of a multidisciplinary engineering team, you will play a key role in defining validation strategies, bringing up new hardware, executing qualification testing, and ensuring compliance against technical specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define and implement validation strategies for custom hardware based on technical specifications and compliance requirements.
  • Perform hardware bring-up of complete evaluation platforms, including FPGA carrier boards and custom mezzanine cards.
  • Execute qualification, verification, and compliance testing on ADC evaluation hardware.
  • Produce detailed test plans, validation reports, and technical documentation.
  • Support the commissioning of ADC hardware, Human-Machine Interface (HMI) software, and RF measurement capabilities.
  • Analyse test results, troubleshoot hardware issues, and work with engineering teams to resolve technical challenges.
  • Ensure validation activities are completed to a high standard and in line with project requirements.

Additional Responsibilities
As part of the wider System Team, you may also:
  • Provide technical support to engineering teams on customer application queries.
  • Support radiation testing activities by advising on test setups and validation methods.
  • Contribute to the validation of new products and hardware platforms as part of ongoing development programmes.

Skills & Experience
We're looking for candidates with experience in:
  • Hardware validation, verification, or system testing.
  • FPGA-based hardware platforms and board bring-up.
  • High-speed digital electronics or mixed-signal systems.
  • Defining and executing qualification and compliance test plans.
  • Producing technical documentation and validation reports.
  • Fault finding and debugging complex electronic systems.

Desirable Experience
  • Analog-to-Digital Converters (ADCs) or data acquisition systems.
  • RF measurements and laboratory test equipment.
  • Human-Machine Interface (HMI) software.
  • Semiconductor or electronics product development environments.
