Overview

We are looking for a motivated SAP BI/BW Consultant with 2–3 years of hands-on experience in SAP Business Intelligence and SAP Business Warehouse. The role involves supporting the design, development, and optimization of data models, reporting solutions, and analytics within an enterprise SAP landscape. You will work closely with business stakeholders, functional teams, and technical architects to deliver reliable and scalable reporting solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain SAP BW data models, including InfoObjects, InfoProviders, ADSOs, and Composite Providers.

• Build and enhance ETL processes using DataSources, transformations, and DTPs.

• Develop and optimize reports and dashboards using SAP BI/BW reporting tools (e.g., BEx, Analysis for Office, or similar front-end tools).

• Support data extraction from SAP and non-SAP sources into the BI/BW environment.

• Perform data validation, testing, and troubleshooting to ensure accuracy and performance.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather reporting and analytics requirements.

• Assist with performance tuning and optimization of BW queries and data loads.

• Participate in system upgrades, enhancements, and support activities.

• Create and maintain technical documentation and knowledge transfer materials.

Required Skills & Experience

• 2–3 years of hands-on experience working with SAP BI/BW.

• Strong understanding of BW data modeling concepts (InfoObjects, ADSOs, Composite Providers, etc.).

• Experience with ETL processes, transformations, and DTPs in SAP BW.

• Knowledge of BEx Query Designer or equivalent SAP reporting tools.

• Familiarity with data extraction from SAP source systems.

• Basic understanding of SQL and data warehousing concepts.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.

Nice to Have

• Exposure to SAP BW/4HANA or SAP HANA modeling.

• Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud, Power BI, or other BI visualization tools.

• Understanding of data integration and reporting best practices.

• Experience working in large enterprise environments.
