Job Description

VP - Lead Python Developer - Financial Services

You will join a global investment bank based in central London utilising both your Python and C++ skills. Working within the Front Office, you will help rebuilding their trading architecture.  

You will get to harness your creativity and help deliver high-quality technology solutions supporting multiple front office teams. You’ll be leading the entire solution delivery life-cycle, in an agile environment, working on the development and delivery of in-house solutions, in an evolving DevOps culture.


Required experience:
  • Bring skills outside pure software development such as business analysis and requirements gathering to delivery and risk management.
  • Experience building and maintaining new and existing applications using Python, Java, Maven, Postgres, MongoDB, Kubernetes, AWS
  • Solid understanding of APIs and REST, and data storage patterns with some  understanding of Unix/Linux with some experience in shell scripting
