Role/description:
The Accounting & Payroll Services team is looking for an experienced specialist in the field of accounting and reporting. The person will take on operational accounting mandates, prepare financial statements, and provide support with complex issues in the accounting environment.
Tasks:
- Management and support of client accounting
- Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Reconciliation of foreign GAAP to OR
- Consolidation, VAT accounting, reporting, and controlling
- Management of client projects and direct contact person for clients
- Coaching and technical support for team members
- Optimization of processes and workflows
- Ensuring up-to-date knowledge of accounting standards and best practices
Requirements:
- Degree as a certified fiduciary expert or certified auditor (or currently in training)
- Several years of professional experience in auditing or fiduciary services
- Experience in consolidation and statutory accounting
- Very good knowledge of Swiss GAAP FER and IFRS
- Very good German and good English skills
- Experience with Abacus, SAP, MS Business Central, and O365
Must-Have Skills
1. Degree or training as a certified fiduciary expert or certified public accountant
2. Several years of experience in auditing or fiduciary services, including consolidation and annual financial statements
3. In-depth knowledge of Swiss GAAP FER and IFRS
