My client, a Major Ecommrce business are currently seeking a DevOps/Platform Engineer with experience in AWS, Kubernetes and Terraform for a 6 month project, focusing on the development of a brand new function. You would be working in a highly capable product team with a large degree of autonomy.
This role is 100% remote, but candidates need to be based within 1hr of CET (+/-)
For UK based consultants, this role is Outside IR35. Rates – ~€80 per hour
What you will do:
- Maintain and continuously improve our AWS infrastructure using IaC
- Design and manage microservices deployment with Docker and Kubernetes for efficient scaling and collaborate with agile teams to deploy new features and enhancements
- Automate deployment workflows using tools like GitlabCI and Terraform, while maintaining documentation of infrastructure configurations and operational processes
- Develop and implement monitoring solutions across integration, staging, and live environments to proactively identify and resolve issues, and respond swiftly to system alerts and incidents
- Closely collaborate with internal application teams enabling them to use the platform
- At least 5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer
- You have strong experience with AWS and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)You have strong experience with AWS and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- You are confident working with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
- You bring a solid background in CI/CD tools (e.g. GitLab CI) and Terraform
- You are a strong collaborator, working closely with agile development teams and internal stakeholders
