The Role

We are seeking an experienced Odoo Developer for a 6-month freelance engagement to support ongoing client implementations and custom development projects. This exclusive collaboration offers the opportunity to work on complex Odoo environments and deliver high-impact ERP solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into effective Odoo ERP solutions

• Design, develop, customize, and maintain Odoo modules (e.g. Sales, Accounting, Inventory, Manufacturing, HR)

• Develop custom features using Python and Odoo ORM, and extend existing modules where required

• Customize Odoo views, workflows, reports, and automated actions

• Integrate Odoo with third-party systems and APIs

• Support system implementation, data migration, testing, and go-live activities

• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve functional and technical issues within Odoo environments

• Produce clear technical documentation and support knowledge transfer to client teams

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven commercial experience as an Odoo Developer (Community and/or Enterprise editions)

• Strong proficiency in Python, Odoo ORM, and PostgreSQL

• Experience with Odoo front-end technologies (XML, QWeb, JavaScript)

• Solid understanding of ERP business processes (finance, sales, supply chain, manufacturing, etc.)

• Experience with Odoo integrations (REST APIs, web services)

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a consultancy setting

• Excellent communication skills in English; German language skills are a strong advantage

• Freelance eligibility to work in Germany for the duration of the contract
