Overview
This role sits within a fast-paced technology environment, supporting data-driven marketing decisions across acquisition, engagement, and retention. You will translate complex datasets into clear insights, build scalable reporting, and partner closely with Marketing, Product, Sales, and Data teams to optimise performance and improve return on investment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain dashboards and automated reporting for campaign, channel, and lifecycle performance.
- Own marketing measurement frameworks, including attribution, incrementality, and funnel analysis.
- Design and analyse A/B and multivariate tests; define hypotheses, success metrics, and statistical significance.
- Perform cohort, segmentation, and customer lifetime value analyses to inform targeting and budget allocation.
- Monitor data quality, resolve tracking issues, and ensure consistent definitions of KPIs across stakeholders.
- Deliver actionable insights and recommendations through concise presentations and written summaries.
- Collaborate with engineering and analytics teams to implement event tracking and data pipelines.
Requirements
- Proven experience in marketing analytics, digital analytics, or growth analytics within a technology or digital product setting.
- Advanced SQL skills and strong proficiency in spreadsheets; experience with BI tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Power BI, or similar).
- Solid grounding in statistics and experimentation (confidence intervals, power, bias, causality, and significance testing).
- Hands-on experience with web/app analytics and tagging (e.g., GA4 or similar), including event taxonomy and tracking plans.
- Working knowledge of common marketing channels (paid search, paid social, display, SEO, email, and partnerships).
- Ability to communicate complex findings to non-technical stakeholders and influence decision-making.
- Strong attention to detail, structured problem-solving, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Desirable
- Experience with Python or R for analysis and automation.
- Familiarity with data warehouses and transformation tools (e.g., BigQuery/Snowflake/Redshift; dbt).
- Exposure to media mix modelling, customer data platforms, or privacy-aware measurement approaches.
